Yes, it is Pai, finally. THough it is around 130K from Chiangmai, but due to the hilly roads to Pai, you simply have to drive slower than normal. During the trip to Pai, we stop at a few places. In between we stopped at two places, one for lunch.
First stop to Pai for Lunch. Had taken chicken rice, which taste quite delicious, however, the best part is buying the banana chips from the market next to this restaurant. taste so good, should have bought more.

Then after that, we make a second stop here for our coffee and tea, and I bought some sweet potato and casava chips at this stop.

And a final stop before we go to Pai, is at this Wat Chan Royal Project. Here you are able to buy some handicrafts. and also they have hostel for you to say.We spent a short while here, before driving all the way to Pai. And the journey as quite pleasant as you see the mountainous road towards Pai, and since the weather was bad, most of the tress as drying up and you can see some places had caught fire before and only charcoal are left behind.

Once you see this white Buddha image, it means you are already in Pai.
And once arrived to Pai town, we moved around to search for hotel and finally we found once which is about 600m away from the town centre but in the evening the hotel is very quiet.
