Sissies.....?????

So many articles have been written on this topic, and I found it funny that we nowadays, categorize human beings into so many types, Gays, Lesbians, Sissies, Trans, blacks, whites, Chinese Malaysians, Kadazan Malaysians, Melayu Malaysians,....1 Melayu, 1 bumi,....
But my concern is, how can you send a group of people defined by some people as "sissies", and send them to a camp, like they have some kind of disease, that would infect people?
THen in future you would have many camps....
WHy don't we consider sending people found to be guilty of corruption to Camps
Those guilty of molesting......those guilty of abusing other Malaysians........
Those not queuing up,
The bullies in Schools
ANd how about sending those super rough guys to camps too, are they not behaving well too?

I am not sure.
I am lost for words sometimes.

I LOST MY SPECTACLES

This morning, I thought I would have a good swim, and left my specs in a locker room, I guess I did not lock it well, may be, and when I am back to the locker after changing,i found my specs are no longer there. Rushed back to my room to check high and low, and I could not find it, went back to the pool area, also I could not find that.
Could not imagine, this will happen in Japan, in OSaka, In Hilton Hotel, I thought guests staying here should have a level of ....taste and behavior? Hope I am not wrong and hope my specs will reappear, somewhere.

Osaka

And for a start, the hotel I stay here is for sure in the central location, next to Osaka Station. Around here, you have many shopping malls, like Daimaru, Hankyu, and Hanshin. And other smaller shopping malls and brands too.

My first nite simple dinner from Daimaru's kitchen, simple but not cheap though.

A rice cake box that my customer bought for me, worrying that I might get hungry at nite time. I think they think I am still like a teenager, haha, possibly, but for sure, I appreciate their nice gesture on this.

I will miss Osaka tomorrow.......haha.
Nite.

Tired But Cannot Sleep

I am now in the final nite before flying back to Beijing tomorrow afternoon, but cannot allow myself to sleep cause I need to blog first before that, as I cannot use this anymore when I am back to Beijing.
Today was who day occupied with customer and end user, but overall, it was quite nice business discussion and conclusion, at least to me, it is positive.
And Japanese always think that it is the first time for me to visit Japan (Hajimemashite....kali pertama ke sine) and that I am always looking very young, as though I am not experience enough or have been out into the market only for a while.......until now. So, I do not know when I will look mature for the position and job I am in......But I am fine, does not matter lah, kan, sebab that means I still look young, haha. So, that it like a compliment.

And I have some, not problems, but I think I need to make my colleagues of staff really look into the needs to be really discipline and not taking things for granted. You know, i am forcing them to be more disciplined and more responsible towards their job and work. It is a must, and I do not care whether they understood or not, but they must do it. When you are too nice with them, they think you are stupid and they can out smart you easily. But I think some time, I wish they know who are they are talking about here now, and when I did not show my true color, they do not know who I am. They forgot, this Malaysian Chinese, as I said, his great grandfather swam all the way to Malaysia, do you think people who survived in this environment can't compete and not being smart enough? Trying to outsmart Hakkanese..... May be they should have a second thought I suppose. The only thing they probably can win is when they treat me too well, that I feel obliged to return those favours......
Do you know the art of using BB to check and reply emails, and this too, I have to guide them. Understood what I meant........

Ok, stop mumbling now.

Royal Weddings-At A Glance

You see many news reporting on the soon to be wedding for Prince Andrew and while exercising this morning, I was thinking, will the same type of celebration will be taking place if his bride is an Asian? Or non-British? Or what happens if Andrew were gay, would they be announcing this widely? Celebrating and announcing that this is the wedding of the century?
And I do not know what is so glamorous about royal weddings? Are they not normal human beings, just like us? except super richer? And what else? More educated? no likely to.
May be it is human nature, we like 'idolising' I suppose.

In OSaka Now

I arrived OSaka or Kansai International airport last afternoon, and surprisingly, this was one of most quiet and most 'deserted' airport I have ever seen in Japan. I though Osaka is still a distance away from Fukushima (the place where the Tsunami and where the nuclear plant problem, to be more precise, has made tourist worried of visiting).
And in the plane, I have almost all the seats to myself. There are less than 30 passengers on the same flight with me. So, i am just wondering... perhaps, this could be one of the best season to visit Japan.
Less crowded and you can enjoy more.......of course, with the possible side effect.....the radiation. Perhaps you will radiate more.....after that, with the good food, and the good buying spree....

I Like This Vegetarian Restaurant

Everytime I come to Taipei, I love that, cause it is a place where you can try out different food, esp. Vegetarian and they are very creative with this. I remember I came here around 12 years ago at the invitation of Kevin (oh gosh, time flies...haha, and I am already 12 years older since then), the vegetarian food was not as good as now. ANd they have improved so much I guess, with the increase in spending power, in demand and supply, and living standard, and in many positive ways. I hope we can have more of such restaurant too in Penang or Malaysia in near future. Being vegetarians are something noble, environmental friendlier, and it creates a lot of positive Karma...haha. Preaching here. Thanks to Kevin for inviting me to this restaurant for dinner, love that and appreciate that.
Good Nite, Taipei

Personal Coaching

Right now, I am having a personal coach, short of my personal mentor, trainer, teacher, lecturer, who will analyze together with me, my strengths, my weaknesses and how do I go about doing that, in the next few months, to become a more "complete' manager. It is like going back to school. I have to go through a list of questionnaires, and a list of questions and answering sessions, and more to come I guess. And guess what, for the next 2-3 months, I have to finish reading 10 books at least (wow, but anyway, I like it, at least I have to find the time to read more, though as you know time is always not enough for us all). At the same time, I have shortlisted at least 8 friends/colleagues that will be contacted by the coach for him to ask some questions, in order to understand me and my behavior more.

By the way, I was analysed as being a very Authentic, Honest,....very much result oriented person..........and more and more to come, haha.

ANd the following two books you should consider reading.

Good To Great, By Jim Collins, Half way

Built to Last, On the Way Of reading this

A must read book, I finished this one. Please get a copy of this, my personal recommendation:)
