If you have the chance to watch this drama, please try to do so. Not that this TVB drama is so good or fantastic, I think story line is very simple but watch out two main characters here:

1) 陈秀珠-I think she acts very well, and interesting, even the main actor and actress I think cannot compete with her, in my opinion. Though she might be one of the supporting actress, but I think she manage to steal the show from beginning until the end.

2) 黄浩然-Acting is not bad, esp when he cries, I think he has acted very well too.

And do not forget on this song too, by 张德兰。

Food In Lampang

A type of vegetarian food using daun sireh and it is called "miangkam', delicious. I like them.


The Somtam (papaya salad) with only one chilli, very good taste if you eat together with the grilled fish shown below.

I tried this noodle, something like Tomyam noodle but it is sourish and the chef adjusted the taste for me, meaning to say less spicy. I love this, with Thai milk tea.


This is very similar to our Hainanese chicken rise, and it tasted very good, rice, the sauce,....yummy.

Lampang, is situated in the Northern part of Thailand, 602KM away from BKK city, 190KM south of Chiangmai. Since it is in the Northern part, thus, it is a little bit chilly during nite time, and you need to wear a piece of Jacket to keep yourself a bit warm.

Driving from BKK takes about 6-7 hours depending on the speed. And along the journey, you see a lot of forest and because end of the year is basically quite dry, along the way, we saw some bushes caught fire, but not very serious.

Lampang, a small city, but I think it is very simple and nice place. They are famous for their ceramics here, and I visited a few of them, and bought some too, mostly celadon pieces and they are very good quality and cheap too, in my opinion. But since it is too heavy and too many, I have to leave some with my friends first and will collect them in the next trip.

Food in this place is very good, and I will share some of the pictures later on.

My Thoughts-The Top Mgt of My Company, Do they understand? Or they just follow black and white?

I am not happy for the last 2 days, as I was informed by my German colleague that an anonymous person has sent a mail to my SHanghai mgt saying something not good about me? I am not sure, as I was only briefly told, and I am not happy about this. Not on the content as yet, but more on this type of anonymity, this to me, shows the person is coward. Secondly, what makes me not happy is that, the so called those in the top mgt or the police of the company, the auditor already sort of made the conclusion, before anything else, that based on black and white company rules and what has been written, you have found to be guilty. This is terrible.
And thirdly, when your supervisor is not really helping very much and does not explain in details what is happening, and instead already start asking for support from other people or have the opinion that since the company have that type of opinion, you have to find ways to explain or to counter that message or claim, but no. And I was not allow to talk to anyone until after CNY or I go back to China, terrible.
ANd but good that I heard from my coach and he has already sent a mail on this matter. And today, though I have not spoken to my colleagues, and they sent a few mail to express their thanks in giving them the bonus, and rewarding their performance. They expressed their appreciation which I think is a form of good message.
ANd I have my asking, what happen to the top mgt, only based on the email?
If there is LIFE principles, does it apply to all, or only to those who put a blank or anonymous complaint? Is this a valid complaint? WHo is the complainant? Have I been given the details? What platform was given to me to express my thought?

Stopping by at BkK for a few days, and just happen that my friend is in town, and together he arranged for a visit to a city far in the north, next to Chiangmai, and it is called Lampang.
It is like 7 hours driving from BKK city, and along the way, you see a lot of forest, trees and other greeneries that are no longer green, must be the weather in Northern Hemisphere end of the year, too try for our tropical plants.

Oh yeah, before that, I was having quite a good relaxing life, eating some nice food like Somtam (papaya salad), grilled fish, mango glutinuous rice, very delicious one, and the greatest of all, massage, almost everyday-traditional massage, scrub and oil massage.
And not forgettingt shopping at Jim Thompson, and my favorite fashion boutiques-Anr. I bought 5 pair of them, but got no time to share in my 'The Glamorous Jerry's blogsite.

Early departures

Sometimes, when I recall my traveling schedules, I find it amazing that I can survive until now. Today, I woke up at 4am our time, rush back from Seoul to Beijing, then will work until evening, and tomorrow, I have to wake up at 4am to fly out, to SEA again. And as for my own record, I have this experience of coming back at middle of the nite, and fly out the next morning, sleeping 3-4 hours I. Between.

Final Nite At Busan

Having dinner now at the hotel lounge, executive floor, Grand Hyatt hotel facing Seoul city from Namsan is nice and breath-taking, is awesome. Tomorrow, I need to wake up early, around 4.30am local time here, in order to catch the 5.40 bus to Incheon airport, then to BJ, and next, for the whole day interview at Beijing office.

In Beijing, I think everybody is already rushing to go home for Spring holidays, and I think it will be quite quiet soon.
And I am getting ready to leave too, going back to Malaysia, first a few days in BKK, then to Penang, then KL, then back to penang, then back to Beijing. And I have a lot of assignments lined up already in February 2012.

As I might not be able to access to this blogsite soon, I would like to wish all my friends a happy Chinese new year and spring festivals in advance.

Second day in Seoul

Today, basically, it is meeting the whole day in office, and in the morning, while reading the local newspaper, one news caught my eyes, that is "Panic DIsorder". It is kind of 'sickness' and a person having this has to be on medication, for 6months to a year. According to Wikipedia, this is definition of -Panic disorder is an anxiety disorder characterized by recurring severe panic attacks. It may also include significant behavioral change lasting at least a month and of ongoing worry about the implications or concern about having other attacks.

In the piece of news, at least 3 local artists were or are having this kind of disorder, and they came out to explain to the public the meaning of this problem.
Thinking could be similar to heart attacks, or having chest pain, heart palpation, also think one is dying soon........something like this. I think any of us could have this form of 'disease' without realising this. And the cause-could be from over-stressed, tiredness and exhaustion.......lack of sleeping, too much caffeine...
I have to watch out if I have one of these symptoms too, not sure....so, friends, check it out too.

Today, quite a fruitful day. After meeting, had simple meal at the lounge, then jogged for 1KM and then swimmed for about 20mins, and now, about to rest soon.

Movies to Watch

I think you have heard of this movie before, a Taiwanese and it reminds us of our school days.....not for those born in the 80s.......I think but earlier.
I like this movie so sweet, and the main actress and actor, and the whole team acted very well, very natural. Song is quite nice.




A ZHangyimou's movie. I like this too. The story line is simple, the ladies are fun to watch and I think acting was very good. And look out for the supporting actress, the student girl, I think she acted very well.




This is a remade, and I like the acting of Zhouxun, Chen Kun （The government officer-雨化田），and a surprise would be 范晓萱-i can recognise her at all......and her acting is a surprise too.

Back to Seoul, and back to Grand Hyatt, my favorite hotel in Seoul. Tired, but did a short gym-jogging, and then now getting ready for my sleep.
Got the news that Anwar is free, in fact earlier my German Boss already informed me about this. He asked me, is this good? I just gave a smile.

Back home, got a message from Mary chear that my car battery seems to have a problem and needs to be changed. Oh gosh, I thought it has been changed only a while before. Anyway no choice since I am not using it on daily basis, and it 'dies' of natural death.

Chinese New Year is coming soon, a break, but I was not thinking so much of these. There are so many things to go, and today, this morning, my mood was not very good. There are simply too many things in my mind and was talking with Ron on some of my concerns. I did send a mail to Markus too, expressing my thoughts on what i am expecting, as far as job is concerned.

A short message for my own record

I am right now in Taiwan, but too busy to write anything. Here for 3 days only, and staying at Agora Garden hotel. Has been raining since day one when I arrived and was very cold indeed. Anyway, in a short time, I managed to get two small warm clothing, discounted one for myself, and also, and I manage to take my milk tea at chunshuitang.
I am getting ready to fly back to Beijing shortly, a 3 hour flight journey.
Following week, I will be in Seoul, then looking forward for my real Chinese New Year break then.
