Warsaw To Nice

My morning starts very early from, woke up around 3.30am, as I could not sleep due to jet lag, and thank goodness, I managed a second sleep around 4.30am until 6am (sounds like a second climax, and it is some time more important than the former, when you do not get enough sleep, it would be horrible, and can you imagine touring and yet walking like a Zombie. The flight was smooth, and yes, from the bird's eye view, Nice is beautiful. I was wondering how lucky the Frenchs are, esp local Nice people. Nice is a city that is really nice. Nice Nice, as I would like to say....
Arrived at the airport, and next took bus 99, reach until the main bus stop, about 20mins, and found the hotel. Simple, location is quite nice. It is cloudy day, though temperature wise, it is quite nice. But nevertheless, it is a nice place, though I think a bit over crowded:)
I am tired now, and shall share more pictures at facebook. Still having this jetlag, and hope my second nite here is with a good rest:) Choong Nice, 29th September 2012

Book To Read-Tribal Leader Ship

http://www.triballeadership.net/ If you have the time, please read this book, very interesting one. Initially not so easy to understand, but once you are into it, then you will get the feel and understood the content easily. One of the best mgt book that I have come across and enjoy reading it. It helps you a lot to understand the team that you are working with, esp, for myself. Happy reading.... Choong September 29th 2012. Warsaw

Ku Melancong Lagi, Traveling 旅游呢。。。。。Day 1-Warsaw

Beijing-Warsaw (28 September 2012) Writing my first article on Warsaw from hotel room. I am tired now, due to time difference and jet lag, but will share more later. I arrived from Tokyo and reached home close to 9pm last nite, then made a simple meal, and again, start packing my luggage for this trip. By the time it was fully done, close to 11PM, and after shower, every thing set, it was close to 11.30PM. Then I woke up at 5.30am, left home around 6.15am, at the airport 5 minutes to 7am. Depart around 9.54am, and presently, I am in the plane right now, sitting at seat number 28F, a safety door exit, spacious, next to the aisle. Still 5 more hours to go, so I guess I need to be a little bit patient, haha. This morning, while at the airport, I think most people are already preparing for the heavy exodus. The two domestic lanes and one for international were all packed with people. It is crowded, and I heard the traffic were stalled last nite at Beijing city. May be tomorrow, it will be worse, as most people will leave Beijing, but at the same time, when I came back from Tokyo, I saw that there are many tourists, local and overseas flooding to Beijing too. So, Beijing will never be a quiet city, can it? Oh by the way, it is first time for me to find out that Polish airline is charging a fee for drinking alcohol. I have arrived to the hotel, by train. The exchange rate at the airport was very bad, and I have go no chance to change any money here in the Central station as yet, shall try that later. Warsaw to me is quite beautiful, though I manage only to walk around for 4 hours. Will continue doing so when I am back in a few days, stay tuned..... Choong Warsaw, 28 September 2012 Reply Forward

I am not sure what is wrong with the air traffic control in Beijing, it seems on average, there is one out of 2 flights, the flight is being delayed, and average delay can range from 1-3 hours. This morning, sky clear, sunny, and windy for sure, and my flight out from Beijing to Warsaw again is delayed for 1 hour, which to me is also very lucky and not a delayed anymore. Yesterday, coming back from Tokyo, I am suppose to land at Beijing around 4.30PM, in the end, I reached BJ around 7PM. I was supposed to have telco with a head hunter, in the end, it has to be postponed, hehe. But oh yes, I am not complaining. It is part and parcel of life, here, have to accept it. But there was some thunderstorm at Beijing airport, 2-4PM, as I heard, and when I look out to the skyline around Beijing airport, it is like small little UFOs, all encircling the airport, waiting to land, Even when I was already out of the airport, and looking up to the skyline again, I saw still many flights waiting to land, and I asked my driver, Mr. Geng to take a look himself. I said, I was a bit worried, as there are simply too many flights surrounding the one I am in, like a kind of traffic congestion on the road, you just don t feel that comfortable. Talking about flight, I have been using flight for many years, and this one, this time, I think I saw this lady, which I believe is a Japanese to be very peculiar in her behavior. She wears those plastic transparent gloves, you know, normally those you use at restaurant where crabs are served. That is on the starter, haha. She then wrap or put all her hand carry bags inside, again a plastic bad, and use news paper to cover it. She put in on the sit in-between us, as the seat was empty. Then, she asked for two blankets, and I was wondering why, and may be like me, you would think she needs two blanket to keep herself warm, but no, it was not. She use it to cover the seat until the head rest area, meaning to say for the whole chair. Ok, that is not the end yet baby. Then she takes her gloves out, massage her hand, you know, like clapping, massaging, “beating, those sound is very annoying. Then, she use alcohol to sanitize her hands, then wearing the gloves again. Then when meal is served, she again took out the gloves, and use the wet issue (the one I think with lots f alcohol, may be for a nurse to use, it smells a lot of alcohol. OK, if you think that is the end of the story, no, it is not. She ten take out a “kouzhou, (mask) but not a normal one. This one, she put in the filter, I am not sure with alcohol, but I believe with something to sterilize the air she breathed in. And 1 hour before arrival, she starts wearing make up, wearing mascara, etc. and then she starts clapping her hands, massaging her hand. Oh yes, the cup of water she has, is always covered with another plastic cup, I guess to prevent the air in the aero plane to go inside, in order, I guess not to contaminate with it. If you think this is a fiction, I can tell you , it is not. Zhenren, zhenshi (like kisah benar le tu), I saw it, hear it with my own eyes and ears……Believe me, please and the 3 and half hours journey, I am suffocating. Beh tahan liao. Oh this lady, again, fyi, wears a scarf (you those who looks like the maid in my fair lady….but instead of white, it is green color). Imagine yeah. But I know it is her right, to take care of hygine and everything, it is her rights, it is her pleasure or may be she has had some major health issue that she needs to be extremely careful with airborne bacteria or viruses, but then, anyway, not for me to make any judgment here,. I just feel that she has overly done a bit, that’s all. Choong 28September 2012 Warsaw 2012

Dear Grandma, Dear Pa.........

Dear Grandmother, How are you? It has been a very long time, since I last hear from you, in my dreams. Did you meet my dad, your second son recently, it seems like I have also not heard of him for a long time. What about Ah Mak, is she also with you? Did you meet her? Are you able to eat anything? Did you receive the merits and prayers that we all have been offering? Are you sleeping well? Do you still go back to the place where we used to stay? I think you can't recognise that place anymore, except the main road.... AH Ma, why you didn’t visit me anymore, I miss you…. I hope you are doing well there, or wherever you are, and I hope dad, aunt, big uncle and all are meeting you and seeing you sometime, somewhere. And I hope you have the time to visit me, until the time when we meet up eventually, I do not know when. But while you have the chance and able to, do visit me, as I miss you 。。。。。。 Aku rindu pada mu, my dearest grandma. 。。。。。

When People Remember You....

This was sent by my ex-colleague, Aaron, in one of the afternoons, unexpectedly. He said, 领导,您现在有在家么?我说干么呢?他说,我顺路过你家,带了一盆花给您,我说你太客气了,他说哪里哪里,一个心意。那我说好吧,谢谢咯。。。。呵呵。
This will brought in buy my lady colleague, Sara when I invited a group of them for meal at my home. The first Chinese colleague to have ever brought flower to my home......haha. Choong Tokyo 27 September 2012

Sunny Tokyo

I am in the hotel now, will be leaving shortly. Today, since a long time, that I have the time to enjoy my breakfast and write something here before I leave. It is kind of good feeling, that you are still a human being, and able to spend some time, to chew your good, enjoy the good smell of your Darjeeling tea and your Tuna Fish Salad, haha. The sky is beautiful, sunny, with clouds shading the otherwise, crystal clear, blue sky. I am going out a while to buy my royal milk tea.......I now slowly learn to enjoy our Japanese Royal Tea more, may be because I think by drinking them more, I become a more of "Royalty", kakakaka. Or was it meant to be Loyal Tea, because Japanese usually confuse themselves between "L" And "R". Then I am becoming Loyal to Royal Milk Tea instead of teh tarik, eh, confused, haahaha:) Oh yes, in between the 2-3 hours free time I had, I managed to shop something for myself. A pair of made in Japan shoes, hu lou eh........be tahan liao A Burberry Jacket and a Burberry Shirt (I almost wrote blurberry, apa ini., blur blur ke?) A pair of Suit from The Suit company, apa lagi, and two more shirts also from them, you can see from my another blog site for this.......... Then also, one bottle of soy sauce,....... Ok for now, and also, I am looking forward to my 12 days vacation soon, hooray, hooray, it's a holy holy dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Choong 27 September 2012 Tokyo, Japan

Daimaru, Japan

I am in Tokyo now, and one thing I have been doing is my shopping, as I only have close to 4 hours before my dinner appointment with colleague and my new Boss. So, rushing from one place to another. I got a pair of suit, two pieces of shirts from "The Suit Company", the latest Autumn collection, and then move to my favourite, that is the Daimaru. I got my Burberry as usual, as they have the design only meant for Japanese market, and I love it. Pictures will be shared later. Anyway, the point I want to write here is what, as I was shopping, and one my final leg, that is to claim back the tax return, I realised I had misplaced my wallet,,,,,,,,,of all the things, how could I. But sometimes, you know, when I go out for shopping, I will hold my wallet, not that I want to let them see my LV wallet, Kan, in Japan, every one is holding one, but I think it is easier to hold it like that, as I can use my credit card easily, and at that time I was preparing to the tax department, claiming my VAT, BUT sebab mata kita ini gatal, dah nampak barang cantik, tangan pun naik gatal. On the way to this so called tax department, I saw two bags, so, i pun try la kan. And you know in Japan, esp in DAIMARU, the sales lady are very polite and they asked my to try the bags, so, grabbed the chance, left my things near a table counter, and went to the mirror. After trying out for a while, I decided the bags were not for me, then I just left........JUST LEFT, and I carry my other bag and those stuff that I purchased but left my wallet on the table in one of the biggest mall at Tokyo station. Imagine my horror, and after walking so cool, to the tax department, I realised my handbag, it is lighter than usual, maklum la kan, I tahu berapa berat bag aku. And I panic la, running up and down, sweating like hell, even though it is well airconditioned. And I lost the direction, where to, and luckily I managed to cool down, and trace back to the last counter I did my purchase. The whole sales ladies also got panicked, and I was almost going mad. My passport is very important for me, kan. And they try to call an English speaker so that they can understand me. ANd first question, what is the wallet you carried? I told them, it is Louis Vuitton, easier for them to pronounce here, as everyone has one Louis Vuitton in Japan kan............ And suddenly my memory comes back, and I recalled where I last left my wallet, and thank goodness, I quickly ran over to the counter where I left it. The sales lady was also trying to call their security department, and when she saw me, she was very happy, and I am the happiest of all. And I am writing this, means every thing is fine, and I need to be extremely careful with my carelessness (my sister says lun chun....). And thanks to Daimaru staff, they are very fast in acting, and thanks to the sales lady for taking care and returning my wallet. Zen zen domo arigatou....!!!! Choong Tokyo 25 September 2012.
