A Family Trip To Hatyai-June 2019

Personally, I have been to Hatyai many times before, but this time around, going and visiting with family members, to Hatyai town and also to Songkla in a way, is quite fun and interesting, exploring the places together, first by using our KTM komuter to Padang Besar, then to Hatyai town, then to Songkla by local chartered local tuk tuk taxi, and came back again to Hatyai town.

The train ride from Padang Besar to Hatyai town.

Our hotel, a guesthouse is actually a short distance away from town centre and it is also a first time to stay at this place (usually, it is Golden Crown which is next to Kimyong market), but this time, it is a slight walking distance away from town centre.
The lobby area where you can take a cup of coffee or have your meals here.

Then it is visiting places around or surrounding Hatyai town. Of all the places we went to, I like this place, Alive a lot, as it is the newest or latest attraction. I think Thai are basically very creative with their cafes, and this is one again, is something like restaurants in a little forest surrounding, very natural feel and very green. And one thing is the food served in this restaurant is relatively good and price is quite reasonable for a restaurant of this stature.

Next is our trip to Songkhla from Hatyai town, with our chartered tuk tuk taxi which is taking close to 11 people altogether. I was lucky to sit in the aircond part (the co-passenger area, haha). We stopped by at the beautiful, newly built mosque, then a sleeping Buddha, before arriving to Songkhla town. Walking around Songkhla town reminds me a bit of Penang, where they have sea, they have hills, they also have their own old towns, which I like and the food in the town area is quite tasty too.

This photo is telling me to travel more, i like this pic, very symbolic.
                                          I like this photo shot

The little mermaid which reminds me of the one in Denmark

We prepared to leave the hotel with our chartered Tuk Tuk

Overall, it was quite a memorable one, though a bit taxing with the time we had and also the weather was extremely hot.
