A Small Note

The welcoming fruits

Last nite, trying to write a bit since I still have a bit of time before flying back to Beijing, but seems there were some problems with my Internet or it could be due to my laptop.
Was very busy, Beijing to BKK-Pattaya-BKK-Beijing, and in 30 mins' time, I am leaving the hotel, the tropical weather, and flying back to Beijing. ANd next week again, another full busy week ahead.

This is the 3rd time I came back to Pattaya, and staying in Sheraton hotel, which I think is quite a good hotel. And my colleagues from China were impressed with their level of services and they were looking for a visit to Malaysia, and have been asking a lot whether Malaysian hospitality can match that of Thais. I said, in general, it is hard, cause we are different, culturally, and secondly, with less competition in the market, and with a lot of foreign labourers being used, we will not be able to project the right identity and image to the customers, unless they are well trained like what S'pore is doing.
Nevertheless, I think I was a good "tour guide' in promoting Thailand, and at the same time, ASEAN, and the place I want them to visit most is Malaysia, but are we ready for that type of competition in traveling industry? Thailand are full of visitors, even until now. And my colleagues were wondering why they are so successful??????????????
