Book To Read-Your Erroneous Zones

I was trying very hard to get find this book, even major bookstores in Penang and KL, they are either running out of stock or do not have any copy of it, or not selling this. May be it is too big label to carry or may be no so many so many readers are interested. Anyway, I would really suggest that you read this book, if you are looking for personal development, self improvement for your life (here I am talking more of spiritual type, for long term betterment of yourself), esp. since young we have been brought to think in certain ways, of which I think it was not right, and after so many years of living as a human being, I finally found the answers to the questions that keep boggling my mind. And looking positively at the development of my life and the current stage I am in, I feel very blessed, because I have the chance to read many books, esp, my recent contact with Dr. Wayne W.Dyer's books, and the lessons and experiences he is trying to share (he has also a fb link, please look for him if you are interested).

This book tells a lot of "errors" esp in our thinking, from the time we we born until now, not because of our parents fault, or others, and not because they were trying to misguide us, but them themselves had been thought to think that way too....and this books highlighted a lot of "errors" we have, in our thoughts, our behaviour and our actions...hence please try to read this one.

and to share a bit, you have quotes like this:
If you believe that feeling bad or worrying long enough will change a past or future event, then you are residing on another planet with a different reality system.

It isn't the experience of today that drives men mad. It is the remorse for something that happened yesterday, and the dread of what tomorrow may disclose.

There are two days in the week about which and upon which I never worry. Two carefree days, kept sacredly free from fear and apprehension. One of these days is yesterday....and the other day I do not worry about is tomorrow.

Happy reading.

Book- The Power Of Intention

I have finished reading this book, and I think if anyone of you have the time, please get a copy of this book. You can consider this as a kind of self improvement book, more spiritual basis...I love reading this book and it helps me to clarify some questions I have been asking myself since I was a boy...and I found the answers I needed.

And one of the poem I found in this book which I like:

The Jeweler by The Poet Hafiz

If a naïve and desperate man
Brings a precious stone
To the only jeweler in town,
Wanting to sell it,
The jeweler’s eyes
Will begin to play a game,
Like most eyes in the world when they look at you.
The jeweler’s face will stay calm.
He will not want to reveal the stone’s true value,
But to hold the man captive to fear and greed
While he calculates
The value of the transaction.
But one moment with me, my dear,
Will show you that there is nothing, nothing Hafiz
Wants from you.
When you sit before a Master like me,
Even if you are a drooling mess,
My eyes sing with Excitement
They see your Divine Worth.

Enjoy reading this book.

The Shift- Another Book by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

After two days, in between my baking...etc, I managed to finish reading this, and hope to re-read this just to make sure I do not miss the key points inside. Very interesting, From, Ambition, To and Meaning...each part of this is well explained by Dr. Wayne Dyer.

And I like the ending part which reads like this:

The Bushman in the Kalahari Desert talk about two "hungers."
There is the great Hunger and there is the little hunger.
The little hunger wants food for the belly;
but the Great Hunger,
the greatest hunger of all, is the hunger for meaning.

There's ultimately only one thing that makes human beings deeply and profoundly bitter,
and that is to have the thrust upon them a life without meaning.....

There is nothing wrong in searching for happiness....
But of far more comfort to the soul....
is something greater than happiness or unhappiness, and that is meaning.
Because meaning transfigures all....
Once what you are doing has for you meaning,
it is irrelevant whether you're happy or unhappy.
You are content__you are not alone in your Spirit__ you belong.

(Sir Laurens van de Post From HastenSlowly, a film by Mickey Lemle).

I am looking forward to buying the next few books by Dr. Wayne Dyer...very much looking forward. But books in Malaysia seems to be very expensive nowadays, and for this one I got it at RM 57.90.

Books To Read (Share)....

This trip home, besides prayers (lunar 7 month... more prayers in Buddhist wat nearby, and other free time would be cooking and also reading, of course also sometime to socialise. I have read two Buddhism books, which I have already shared the title in Facebook). But this book I like it a lot, and I think if you want to find something to motivate yourself further or trying to be more positive in your outlook on whatever it is, this books really helps a lot.

And while reading this book, I was also reading a book from Tzu Chi, written by Master Cheng Yen, Dharma As Water,
it is sort of very complementing some of the opinions share, on mind, on universality...etc.

Feel free to read both books, and happy reading if you found both.
For Dharma as Water, I think you can easily get this from Tzu Chi foundation, in Kepong or in Penang, and for Dr. Dyer's book, I got it from Kinokuniya book store.

Thanks.

Reading this book...and as usual books by Mitch Bloom is interesting

A good book and I suggest you to read this. The story line, I guess more like an investigation type, like a CSI, but when you go deeper, it touches a lot on religion (God, life, heaven, love) and the way the story line was presented by Mr. Albom, I like it very much. And I have been reading non-stop since yesterday noon time, and finished by midnite (should finish earlier, but in betweens, I have gone to many websites and also my we chat)...... Please read this book if you have the time.

The last Lecture-By Randy Pausch

I just finished reading this book, and if you have the chance do so please. It tells how a professor prepares himself, and for his family, after finding out that he has a terminal cancer.

A lot of professors give talks titled "The Last Lecture." Professors are asked to consider their demise and to ruminate on what matters most to them. And while they speak, audiences can't help but mull the same question: What wisdom would we impart to the world if we knew it was our last chance? If we had to vanish tomorrow, what would we want as our legacy?

When Randy Pausch, a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon, was asked to give such a lecture, he didn't have to imagine it as his last, since he had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. But the lecture he gave--"Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams"--wasn't about dying. It was about the importance of overcoming obstacles, of enabling the dreams of others, of seizing every moment (because "time is all you have...and you may find one day that you have less than you think"). It was a summation of everything Randy had come to believe. It was about living.

In this book, Randy Pausch has combined the humor, inspiration and intelligence that made his lecture such a phenomenon and given it an indelible form. It is a book that will be shared for generations to come.

Read it please when you have the time.

Please read this book, mostly quotes from the late Mr. Steve Jobs. I like this book a lot. Among the few quotes I like:
MY JOB IS NOT TO BE EASY ON PEOPLE. MY JOB IS TO MAKE THEM BETTER............

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE MOST COMPANIES IS THAT YOU DONT KEEP GREAT PEOPLE UNDER WORKING ENVIRONMENTS WHERE INDIVIDUAL ACCOMPLISHMENT IS DISCOURAGED RATHER THAN ENCOURAGED. THE GREAT PEOPLE LEAVE AND YOU END UP WITH MEDIOCRITY.I KNOW, BECAUSE THAT'S HOW APPLE WAS BUILT.

Maverick Mahathir

Dear dear and dearest of all,

Please find the time to get a copy of this book, I would say a fantastic ones. I have not finished as yet, but within one day, I have finished a few chapters. Not going to say much, but you learn a lot more details in this book then anything else, and I would suggest that you read it yourself.
The buying price is close to RM 100/copy, hard cover, and does not come cheap, haha.
But I think worth it, and ok, got to go now, it is late. But I just want to share this information since I have the time to do this blogging.

Reading-Consider This Book

I have just finished reading this book, and John Maxwell has been one of my favorite writers.
The other book that I like, coming from him, was 'Make Today Count, which deals with our present day issues, if you have not read, please try to get it.'
Anyway, for this new book, how successful people think, I think it way the ideas are presented are very direct to the points, and again, like all self-improving books, it gives you more ideas on how to better, improving yourself, with ideas and mindset.
Happy reading.

Have A Meaningful Malaysia-A Book I Want To Get

pic: from Mr. Anas Zubedy's blogsite

Dear friends, if you reading this, please try to see if you can get a copy of this book for me, or send it to me or keep a copy for me, and I will 'reclaim' it when I am back to Malaysia (May be Bengkooi can help to look for me, or my niece, Natasha will also possible, ......)
And most importantly, if there is a chance to read this book, please do so. I am not sure what the content is for now, but I believe it is for Malaysians' unity, you can read more here, http://www.letusaddvalue.blogspot.com/ (I like this blog-address, it reminds me of my previous job, and in our total rebranding exercise with our product range, we came out with this new marketing strategy, where we used this term-addvalueline....). If you have the time, read also Mr. Zubedy's blog, I think it is an interesting one.

One Of My Personal Favourite Books

One of my all time personal favourite books, by Robin S. Sharma.
To me, the content is quite spiritual in nature. Have already informed a few friends to read this, like Ah Chooi, YS, and not sure if my niece Natasha have read this. I passed the book to her, hope she has finished with it. Reading this book will help you to balance up your life better and may be setting your priorities in the right manner too. Will share some of my other favourites in the near future.
