Tokyo Metrolines and Subways

If you have the chance to be here in Tokyo, then try to go for some rides with the subway system they have, it is very punctual and reliable. But this is not my point here. What I am trying to suggest here is that try to use the subway system around midnite, of which I tried last nite or in fact early this morning, for experience. They last train of the day would end at 1am, and around 12midnight, you still have lots of people in the metrolines, Amazing, don't you think so? I just wondering who these people were doing so late, on Sunday night? We have the 24 hours mamak stores back in Malaysia, but here, I do not think so. Hence, I have been wondering? Shopping? Shop closed at around 8.30PM. So, I am not, just curious......But I think it is good that people do not need to drive, can have fun, and then again, able to go back home with cheaper mode of transportation.

The other night, on Saturday, I was out for the fireworks display in Tokyo city, and the crowd, my friend say was around 1 Million, and yet, the public transportation was in superb service. They do not have any problem to manage this. Anyway, I am not surprised with their proper SOPs in place, :).

Thinking

As as listened to some oldies, memories call back remind me of me late date, and my small uncle. And times passes, dad passed away for more than 2 years and small uncle already 1 year. And also my memory of my late grandma.....



May you all rest in peace. I guess when one gets older and older, more and more memories coming back. You never stop missing people that touched your life, people that were part of your life, people that once exist in your life and people that were once existed somehow for you to continue your life journey.
And one day, just one day, you hope that journey will cross again, somewhere. somehow.....
Until then, may all of them rest in peace and happy always.
I miss all of them.......

Small Hotel Room

When you are trying to cut cost and saving it by staying in cheaper hotel rooms, here is what is pays.........very small room, very small space, small washroom, small table, small fridge, small toilet-bowl, small sink, small... if you read the book on the God of small little things, may be it describes.........

I hope I can endure this.

This again was sometime back, and I like the taste very much. It is very much like Dimsum style. I shall find out the place name and then I will come back and rehighlight. For record I have to publish this first.

Sweet Potato Rice

I forgot when I made this, like a few months ago. It was purple sweet potato (I love purple sweet potato, as the color is very beautiful. That makes me recall my form one art teacher, and when she pronounced the word purple in Hokkien, it is also out of tune, Nam mu niahhhhhh, we guy always burst with laughter...could not help it. Not sure if she is still around, but she was a very nice teacher and dressed so well. I trust she should be still around, may be already old liaoooo).

Back to the rice, it is all vegetarian, and it tasted so good. I am not sure if I a able to make the same taste another time, as I already forgotten the ingredients I put in. More like fusion style.

These were some pictures taken like last year, a restaurant that I went to, I think about 40 minutes from Hangzhou city centre. I like the atmosphere, and they have some SEA food here. Environment is nice, and they serve a local fruit juice, I forgot the name, but sourish in taste and I think is good.

It has been Ages.....

It has been a long time since I have the chance to access to my blogsite, and finally I am out of china, and finding my time to do so, a short one first before writing more in future. I am here in Busan for a week, and then to japan Tokyo and Osaka, and i hope the radiation issue is already solved. But as I heard from friends, it is far from getting better, which makes me worried really. On personal end, I am tired, and hope my vacation will come soon. Shall write more when I can find the time to do so.
