Dear Grandma, Dear Pa.........

Dear Grandmother, How are you? It has been a very long time, since I last hear from you, in my dreams. Did you meet my dad, your second son recently, it seems like I have also not heard of him for a long time. What about Ah Mak, is she also with you? Did you meet her? Are you able to eat anything? Did you receive the merits and prayers that we all have been offering? Are you sleeping well? Do you still go back to the place where we used to stay? I think you can't recognise that place anymore, except the main road.... AH Ma, why you didn’t visit me anymore, I miss you…. I hope you are doing well there, or wherever you are, and I hope dad, aunt, big uncle and all are meeting you and seeing you sometime, somewhere. And I hope you have the time to visit me, until the time when we meet up eventually, I do not know when. But while you have the chance and able to, do visit me, as I miss you 。。。。。。 Aku rindu pada mu, my dearest grandma. 。。。。。

When People Remember You....

This was sent by my ex-colleague, Aaron, in one of the afternoons, unexpectedly. He said, 领导,您现在有在家么?我说干么呢?他说,我顺路过你家,带了一盆花给您,我说你太客气了,他说哪里哪里,一个心意。那我说好吧,谢谢咯。。。。呵呵。

Sunny Tokyo

I am in the hotel now, will be leaving shortly. Today, since a long time, that I have the time to enjoy my breakfast and write something here before I leave. It is kind of good feeling, that you are still a human being, and able to spend some time, to chew your good, enjoy the good smell of your Darjeeling tea and your Tuna Fish Salad, haha. The sky is beautiful, sunny, with clouds shading the otherwise, crystal clear, blue sky. I am going out a while to buy my royal milk tea.......I now slowly learn to enjoy our Japanese Royal Tea more, may be because I think by drinking them more, I become a more of "Royalty", kakakaka. Or was it meant to be Loyal Tea, because Japanese usually confuse themselves between "L" And "R". Then I am becoming Loyal to Royal Milk Tea instead of teh tarik, eh, confused, haahaha:) Oh yes, in between the 2-3 hours free time I had, I managed to shop something for myself. A pair of made in Japan shoes, hu lou eh........be tahan liao A Burberry Jacket and a Burberry Shirt (I almost wrote blurberry, apa ini., blur blur ke?) A pair of Suit from The Suit company, apa lagi, and two more shirts also from them, you can see from my another blog site for this.......... Then also, one bottle of soy sauce,....... Ok for now, and also, I am looking forward to my 12 days vacation soon, hooray, hooray, it's a holy holy dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Choong 27 September 2012 Tokyo, Japan

Daimaru, Japan

I am in Tokyo now, and one thing I have been doing is my shopping, as I only have close to 4 hours before my dinner appointment with colleague and my new Boss. So, rushing from one place to another. I got a pair of suit, two pieces of shirts from "The Suit Company", the latest Autumn collection, and then move to my favourite, that is the Daimaru. I got my Burberry as usual, as they have the design only meant for Japanese market, and I love it. Pictures will be shared later. Anyway, the point I want to write here is what, as I was shopping, and one my final leg, that is to claim back the tax return, I realised I had misplaced my wallet,,,,,,,,,of all the things, how could I. But sometimes, you know, when I go out for shopping, I will hold my wallet, not that I want to let them see my LV wallet, Kan, in Japan, every one is holding one, but I think it is easier to hold it like that, as I can use my credit card easily, and at that time I was preparing to the tax department, claiming my VAT, BUT sebab mata kita ini gatal, dah nampak barang cantik, tangan pun naik gatal. On the way to this so called tax department, I saw two bags, so, i pun try la kan. And you know in Japan, esp in DAIMARU, the sales lady are very polite and they asked my to try the bags, so, grabbed the chance, left my things near a table counter, and went to the mirror. After trying out for a while, I decided the bags were not for me, then I just left........JUST LEFT, and I carry my other bag and those stuff that I purchased but left my wallet on the table in one of the biggest mall at Tokyo station. Imagine my horror, and after walking so cool, to the tax department, I realised my handbag, it is lighter than usual, maklum la kan, I tahu berapa berat bag aku. And I panic la, running up and down, sweating like hell, even though it is well airconditioned. And I lost the direction, where to, and luckily I managed to cool down, and trace back to the last counter I did my purchase. The whole sales ladies also got panicked, and I was almost going mad. My passport is very important for me, kan. And they try to call an English speaker so that they can understand me. ANd first question, what is the wallet you carried? I told them, it is Louis Vuitton, easier for them to pronounce here, as everyone has one Louis Vuitton in Japan kan............ And suddenly my memory comes back, and I recalled where I last left my wallet, and thank goodness, I quickly ran over to the counter where I left it. The sales lady was also trying to call their security department, and when she saw me, she was very happy, and I am the happiest of all. And I am writing this, means every thing is fine, and I need to be extremely careful with my carelessness (my sister says lun chun....). And thanks to Daimaru staff, they are very fast in acting, and thanks to the sales lady for taking care and returning my wallet. Zen zen domo arigatou....!!!! Choong Tokyo 25 September 2012.

Trip To Seoul

Typhoon Haikui arriving at Shanghai and as seen from my hotel room. This business trip was so taxing, from Monday, 6.30am, departing from Beijing and then to Shanghai, from Shanghai to Suzhou, and from Suzhou back to Shanghai, by train. Then, the next morning, from Shanghai by bus to Taizhou (take note it was Typhoon Haikui), then to Wuxi, and back to Shanghai. And from Shanghai to Seoul, and now back to Beijing..... And as my secretary has mentioned, because you work hard, you are blessed and hence, I have the chance to be upgraded to Biz class again, I think the 3rd time this year.....haha.
