Francisco-Part 6

Day 6 in San Francisco, and getting better in terms of jet-lag. Some of the places visited.

San Francisco-Part 4

Having been here for the 4th day, and after sis, Joyce explaining more of the life here, you can find that it is actually all about respecting human beings and also all about having your sense of freedom in this place.
We see many people, all of different origins, races, colors, background, status, and all have their own freedom in this country. Nobody tells anyone that they are penumpang, or nobody ask them to go back to their own country, and everybody just respect this, because all of them are tax payers of the country, and have their equal rights. And one more thing is that, in each government office or local council, they use 3 languages, English, Spanish and Cantonese/Mandarin to help out the locals, as the key issues are to help them understand and live as normal as can be.
I am glad to see this here.
Each community can leave on their own, at the same time each can blend in well with the others. You see those whites or Caucasians going over to Asian restaurants and vice versa.

And secondly, all the local produce (fruits, food, whatever that are being produced locally, are all very cheap, whether it is local standard or even our Asian standards.
As long you can cook yourself and make simple food yourself, then the cost of living is actually not high. only when services are being rendered, by human beings, then real cost issue comes into the picture. I understood when there are quite a number of people migrating to United States Of America..............haha.

I like this photo a lot.
First of all, we all look great. The color of our shirts matches the environment.
And all look SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo Good, and so cute..... and after so many years, and I am spending another time with Joyce (once upon a time_ I cannot say for when was that, we used to spend a lot of time together), and now, again, that memory comes back and with Kate joining in, the feeling is nice and cool.

End September 2010, was in Belgium for a meeting and here, and during the weekend-Sunday, was able to find time to visit a Unesco Heritage site called Brugee.

San Francisco

These are the first few pictures I have taken when I arrived at SF airport today.
First time for me to use United Airlines, everything they have is sweeter than others. Orange juice is sweet, apple juice is sweet, carrot cake is sweet.......hence I can only drink water with slice of lemon, and Black tea without sugar.

When I arrive at the airport,the immigration officer asked me a few questions:
i) For what purpose I came to SF, for vacation was my answer
ii) When I said visiting my sister, they asked me, what my sister do in SF, and I told them they are a green card holders here together with her husband, then no more further questions.
iii) How many days will I be staying in SF, told him until 15th,
iv) And before stamping on my passport, the last question was whether I brought anything to USA, like fresh food, vegetables, etc, and I said none.
and finally rubber stamp on my passport, all is less than 6 minutes I suppose. And no more checking on luggage and any further questions. Hence, I think it is much better for us, the Malaysian Passport holders....

So here I am in San Francisco, with James and Joyce together with Kate, in their house. And not forgetting my jet lag, Beijing is 1.14pm, and in SF, it is 10.24pm, and I have not slept close to 24 hours, only managed a short nap for 2 hours just now.

Hi From Incheon, Seoul And In Advance Hello To San Franscisco

Hi, I am now off again, just landed at Seoul International Airport, and in 2 about 1hour's time, I will be off to San Francisco. And first time for me to use United Airlines, I hope it is fine and good. Anyway, since I am using Business class, I hope it is fine.
It seems like I am sleeping 'on air' more than on Earth, haha, just joking. Before I have fully adjusted to the jet lag I am having, which was 6 hours behind, I will be moving to another zone which is about 14 hours behind, and another jet lag, haha. But while my body still able to withstand this, I think I better move around.Anyway, Buddha asks us not to attach to any particular place, and good to see the world where we have not been before or to widen our horizons.....

OK for now, I will update when I am fully recovered from my jetlag, as I have plenty to write and updates.
